In addition to the regular physical education periods required by state law, Providence Heights Alpha School has programs in basketball, soccer, cross country and volleyball.  Students who participate in these programs are required to maintain acceptable academic levels.  Proper behavior by students, coaches, and parents is expected at all times.  Behavior which does not meet Alpha’s standards will be dealt with by the administrator.  All of the programs are to be viewed as part of the school curriculum.

The Athletic Association is granted responsibility for financing and coaching arrangements for the athletic program at Alpha.  The Athletic Association must conform to Diocesan regulations and Alpha School Policy.  All aspects of the athletic program are subject to the approval of the principal.  Students participating in the athletic programs are charged a fee.  Informational meetings will be called as necessary to provide specific athletic details.
