Alpha Alum Named Valedictorian at Oakland Catholic High School

Congratulations to Mia Lowry, a 2019 graduate of Providence Heights Alpha School, who is this year's Valedictorian at Oakland Catholic High School. In addition to being named Valedictorian, Mia received additional honors, including the Excellence in Mathematics Award and the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence Gold Certificate.

In a letter to our school, Oakland Catholic Principal Nicole Powell noted that "the educational foundation that Mia received at Providence Heights Alpha School gave her the support to further her education and excel at Oakland Catholic High School." Mia will attend the University of Notre Dame and plans to study neuroscience and business analytics. She is the daughter of Angela and Bill Lowry, and the sister of Alpha alum Emma and Jake.
